Create your profile, upload your ID for verification, and start browsing verified roommates in your preferred location. Once approved, you can message other members directly and find your perfect villa match. The whole process takes under 2 minutes.
Is my first month really free? +
Yes! Your first 30 days are completely free — no credit card required. You get full access to browse profiles, message members, and find roommates. After 30 days, you can continue for just $12/month or $79/year.
How is verification done? +
We verify every member by reviewing their uploaded ID document (passport, national ID, or driver's license). Our team reviews each document within 24 hours. If you have trouble uploading, you can also send your ID via email to support@roomiematch.co for manual verification.
Is my personal information safe? +
Absolutely. Your ID document is stored in an encrypted, private storage and is never shared with other members. We only use it to verify your identity. Other members see your name, photo, location, and bio — never your ID document.
What if my ID verification is rejected? +
If your document doesn't meet our requirements (blurry, incomplete, or not a valid ID), we'll notify you by email with instructions to resubmit. You can also email your ID directly to support@roomiematch.co as a backup — we'll verify it manually within 24 hours.
Can I cancel my subscription? +
Yes, you can cancel anytime directly from your member dashboard. Click the "Cancel subscription" link in your account. Cancellation stops future billing immediately and you keep access until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees.
Which locations are available? +
We're currently live in Canggu and Uluwatu (Bali) and Phuket (Thailand). Coming soon: Phuket (Thailand), Tulum (Mexico), Porto (Portugal), Chiang Mai (Thailand), Lisbon (Portugal), and Medellín (Colombia). New locations are added based on demand.
Does RoomieMatch find me a villa? +
RoomieMatch connects you with verified roommates — we're not a rental agency. Once you find a compatible roommate, you search for and agree on a villa together. Many of our members share villa listings they've found directly in the chat.
How do I contact support? +

2. No Liability for Member Conduct
RoomieMatch is not responsible for the behavior, actions, decisions, or conduct of any member, landlord, or third party you connect with through this service.

3. No Involvement in Rental Agreements
All rental contracts are made directly between members and landlords. RoomieMatch has no involvement in any rental agreement, dispute, or financial arrangement between parties.

4. Subscription & Billing
After your free first month, your subscription is billed at $12/month or $79/year. You may cancel at any time.

5. Age Requirement
You must be 18 years of age or older to use RoomieMatch.

Refund Policy

Free First Month

No Refunds After Access
Since RoomieMatch provides immediate access to verified member profiles upon subscription, all sales are final once the service has been accessed. By subscribing, you acknowledge that the service has been delivered and waive your right to a refund.

Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing immediately. No cancellation fees apply. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.

Technical Issues Exception
If you experience a verified technical issue that prevents access to the platform, contact us at support@roomiematch.co within 48 hours of your payment for a full refund. Technical issues must be documented and verified by our team.
